Zinovy is a long, noodly ferret-dragon softsynth with a penchant for exploration. Zir design features a chassis located in the hips, and vertebra-like signal repeater modules, that allow zir to stretch a great deal. Ze uses this as a member of expedition teams to tether objects in microgravity, to bridge gaps, or to explore deep into access tubes or crevices.

Zinovy loves scouting roles, but can be a bit unreliable- ze has a penchant for exploring zir own curiosity rather than sticking to official missions. While this can be frustrating to more orderly team members, zir intuition is strong, and zir flights of fancy often lead to important discoveries.

Zinovy's explorative nature extends into social interactions as well- zie values the novel and the unusual over the polite, and sometimes shows an uncomfortable disregard for unstated social norms.
