Overview

Caiya is a gentle-mannered soft-synth who takes the form of a purple cow. She works on Valence Station as an expedition team member- her body design lets her easily carry enough fluid rations to sustain a small crew for a week or so.

While her official role on expeditions is essentially a cargo carrier, her willingness to step into other support roles as needed, and her soothing demeanor during high intensity situations, has earned her a reputation for being the soft but supportive backbone of many operations.

Caiya is especially fond of field biology expeditions, getting to see and interact with new creatures. The relative invulnerability of her gel biology lets her befriend critters that are more chompy, spiky, venomous, or otherwise dangerous than a non-synth could really handle, and her soothing vibes make her an excellent wrangler of dangerous beasts.
